I think that some of the polling organizations are consistently missing by more than the margin of error.

This has been a more recent issue and I think its related to the cries that Trump supporters are racists or bad people etc. and some older people get a phone call and don't want to be honest about their support.

The polling error is real and it's a newer phenomenon so I think it has to be related to public perception and willingness to respond and not things like the sampling technique.

It would kinda like how I think if you did a phone survey asking about illegals you are sure as heck going to get less honest answers from them today than you would have 2 years ago.

Say what? Democrat spent 34 million and some say closer to 53 million with all the outside spending promoting the Democrat. The Republican spent a little over 4 million.


Same with Clintons 2 billion v. Trumps 3 million
