The cold hard fact is, Trump played this deal up as if he swooped in and saved the Carrier employees from losing their jobs. But, under closer scrutiny, he only accomplished saving a very small number of jobs , for which he (actually WE) are going to pay Carrier a lot of money.
But it was a good photo op, and all the Trumpees got off on it. Some still think he parted the waters and turned Carrier around.

They're referring to my post mocking them for the whole Trump saved Carrier jobs, and it was all a big scam.
Carrier is updating their plant they plan on automating it as much as possible with the tax break Trump gave them. How many jobs were saved again?
This is a BAD move all around it shows other business that they can say that they too are moving out of the country, and then Trump gives them a HUGE tax break. How much money will these big tax breaks cost the U.S?
Trump gives them $7 million to keep the plant and jobs here, and they're still shipping it to Mexico while keeping their money.
Trump got played and lied again. HAHA!

If congress would get moving on reducing the corporate tax, it might help companies stay in the US. There are going to be victories as well as deals that didn't accomplish all we had hoped for.
According to the article, there is some progress:
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says already this year it has landed commitments for 80 new projects, adding more than 5,700 jobs. And that does not include the jobs saved at Carrier.

So it's ok for you guys to constantly demean and wish bad things on liberals/Dems, but when someone calls your god Trump out on his incompetence and scams, suddenly it's mean and hateful.
Wow-Trump did everything he could to keep those jobs here, offering $7 million for them to stay..and yet it seems the hateful liberals are delighted that hundreds of Americans will soon be out of a job. And of course liberals are thrilled that it makes Trump look bad even though he did everything to keep Americans employed. Disgusting.
Please don't tar all liberals with the same brush. Obviously there are always those few who will find any Trump shortcoming hilarious, even at the expense of the livelihoods of Americans...
But most of us want what is best for the people and are entirely disheartened, as I'm sure you are, that what was meant to be a good deal didn't pan out.
