This should end the thread. It doesn't get any more clear cut than this. If someone changes their mind and says no, they have withdrawn their consent for sex. Period.
But at least 11 people here think that a person doesn't have any say once the act is begun, and that's really disturbing.
Interesting that none of them have posted to share why. Thar be sickos here...
Yes, this is one poll I wish showed the identity of the voters. Of course, I'm guessing those 11 wouldn't have voted if we all could see who they were. We only get their true feelings behind the wall of anonymity.
So your young daughter is with her bf. He has been nice to her so far, and she thinks they are in love. They are having sex and he starts to hurt and scare her. So she says stop. Does your young daughter's bf have the right to proceed until he "finishes"? Does it look different now?

How about if she thinks they are just kissing and necking and he pulls the old "blue balls" business?
Technically-the law works both ways. If a woman is "approaching liftoff" the man has no more "right" to withdraw consent than the woman does. But heck, lets not let facts ruin anything.
I am somehow hoping those 11 people are such sticklers for law that they are tripped up on the idea of how it's legally proven always, not the idea itself that it's ok......right? That's possible? Sigh.
I am also weird and my mind keeps inventing all these scenarios and wondering if these people would still say it's ok.
The poll results say a lot about folks here. Really? Once its begun she can't say no? and 1 in 6 vote that way?
Look, yeah its not a nice thing for someone to change their mind once you are...engaged in the activity. Its NOT a nice thing. Know what is 100X worse? Rape. And thats EXACTLY what that is.

Huh? I would also say that a man doesn't have to see it through should he somehow decide that he didn't want to, even if the woman still wanted to do it. No means no.
