How is 'hey, it doesn't make sense that crack gets a longer sentence than cocaine' a racist policy? How is it racist to say race shouldn't matter in employment decisions? How is it racist to say that everyone should be able to get a decent education?

Republicans do not try to fix the problem. When they're not busy making things worse, they've got their earplugs and blindfolds on and insist that there is no problem.

How did they manage to actually convince so many people that they're the party of racial equality and the GOP is the racist party?
If you handed out cookies following the methodology/formula of 2 for you, none for you, 2 for you 1 for you.....some groups build build up more cookies than others. Try that with kids and see their natural response when you try to make things fair by saying...."OK....we are going to have equal opportunity for cookies going forward", after you have let some gets get way more cookies in the past. What would the kids say?

Some groups were allowed to accumulate wealth. It takes money to make money, as they say. Thus, if you had advantage in the past in getting monies and wealth.....you will always have it if it takes money to make more money. It's like giving someone a head start and letting them keep it.....but then not giving out head starts to any new entrants. That will never fix the historical inequality.

Does that clear it up?
All you've cleared up is that you don't understand the right's views or motivations on this issue.

Patronage (aka bribes) disguised as Moral Imperatives.

Sadly, we have never treated everyone equally in this country and looks as if we never will.

Can you provide examples of the GOP trying to fix racism through equality?

Everybody does this, Republicans, Democrats, everyone. This is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

It's crazy how biased y'all are.

Simply because you consider the GOP racist does not mean we all do. You are overgeneralizing. Individuals are racist, not political parties. And all that generalizing about liberals is also faulty logic.

Perhaps because many people, including you, are easily swayed. Some Americans are easily swayed by the Democrats, and others, like you, by the GOP. Is one any better or worse than the other?

Then there are those of us who are able to think beyond the relentless Democrat vs Republican domestic battles of the Excited States of America (that continue to tear it apart). We think for ourselves.
