What do legitimate news sources have to do with CNN.

Wow only six similar threads on this issue that CNN is honest enough to admit a mistake.

Thanks for showing that MSM can be depended upon to tell the truth and clean house.

Now Trump and the WH on the other hand.....

Sure it was clever..and predictably partisan. It gets to be boring...to me...when everyone's default position is some worn, hack-kneed chestnut, instead of a cogent, balanced reply to what was posted..I feel it's a deflection that's designed to mask the fact that the poster has no real comment to make...or at least, not one that can support their position.

Had the joke been made..and then some substance followed...I'd have laughed a bit more.

Even though it's a bit of a 'so what?'--Clinton is such a non-issue--now if a reference had been made to Trump's lies to go along with it..in the interest of balance...my respect quotient would have skyrocketed!

How can we demand accuracy and fairness in our media, if we do not practice it in our discourse?

I never used to hear criticism of major network and newspaper sites UNTIL Trump started running for office. WTH, it's so bizarre. I get the alt-media like Breitbart being called out because no, they aren't real journalists and they are considered a fringe company, but when I see CNN, New York Times, and other major news outlets referred to as "fake news," it sounds like a bunch of tin foil hat conspiratorists are having a convention.

Well, seeing as how NO ONE lies with the frequency and audacity of Trump, he's gotta get his points where he can:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/graph...=.844ceaea42b1

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...umps-lies.html

Huckabee's comments at today's presser were laughable given that Trump lies 5x a day, at least.

If a major news outlet gets their facts wrong once a week - that's a whole better track record than the lying Trump and his people - where the public is forced to wade through his crazy comments on a daily basis - and then endure the WH trying to pretend it's everyone else's fault but his and theirs.

Trump administration is - without doubt - a 24-hour Mad Hatter's Tea Party:
'Twas Brillig
And the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe,
All mimsy were the borogoves
And the mome raths outgrabe.
What comes out of the WH makes as much sense as the foregoing limerick sung by The Cheshire Cat.

What the Trump cultists on here won't admit is they only get their info from a few sources, Drudge Report, Breitbart, and Fox News. It's ironic that they accuse the traditional media as being biased while only getting information from biased sources themselves.

If you were an honest and truthful person, you would seek information from all sources, not just a select few that agree with your view of the world.

Trumpist don't want a free press they want an echo chamber. Thus they despise all that does not agree with them. It does explain why they love autocrats and Putin-like leaders.
