Yes I do comprehend that our congressman are doing JUST THAT.

Many who are dems do NOT.

WE can can speculate all we want with the "what ifs" and "maybes" and it is meaningless.

Let THEM come up with a FINAL bill.

THEN let the House AND the Senate come up with a FINAL bill for the president to either sign or veto.

Until then, everything else said on these boards is a meaningless wast of time.

I'm not sure you understand how bills are amended. It's way too late for discussion by the time there is a "final bill."

we get it Dbones, you are so far up in Trump's cult you would rather support Trump for the "WIN", than treat people like humans beings.

WE are the ONLY developed nation on earth the casts aside our low income and purposely lets them DIE to save a few bucks for the UBER wealthy. But go ahead and continue to lie to yourself to prop up your need for a strongman leader.

But know this, someone you value will die younger and sooner than they needed to because of your choice to continue to support this cruel and selfish bill. It is directly YOUR fault, and the fault of trumpers and your lot will suffer ever bit as much.

And again i get it, you have not put in the time to understand or learn anything about healthcare, and you incorrectly believe yourself "safe". But the truth is you or you mom or your kids or your grandkids will NEED medicaid when they are 78, 48, 28. You just don't know.

I have been super lucky, i have great healthcare, money to buy it at any price and nobody in my family has gotten sick in many years. But one day i will cost the system tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands maybe a few million in long term care...

tell me do you have a plan for long term nursing? Do you have bullet proof policies that will survive job loss, and endure for a decade or more in high cost full time care?

Or are you simply talking out of your bum, because you dont understand how badly unbalanced our system really is and how most everyone else in the developed world has BETTER healthcare Security than you do .

Why are these people not buying COBRA once they leave an employer until they are firmly set into another job? These are not the people who are qualifying for Medicaid obviously. Savings are meant for situations just like that. If you have medical issues already you should be proactive in your own situation and not expect the government to bail you out.

Well now you are just ignoring how our law making processes work because you can't find any reasonable way to defend Mitch.

You know this new bill is wrong. you defend it only because you have tied your own self worth to the success of Trump. The thing you need to understand, is that Trump's failure to delivery what he promised is NOT your fault. It is Trump's fault.

redwood, many folk who are on the breadline, don't have savings. they are not bad or greedy , they are working poor. COBRA is NOT free.

Most people prefer individual coverage over COBRA. Since COBRA is just the employer's insurance, only they don't subsidize part of it, it's usually REALLY expensive (because companies generally buy great coverage for their employees).

What is this Trumpcare the OP speaks of?

Sounds like he talks about the Senate version of the Obamacare repeal and ignores the US House version.
