I say you should pop for internet connection and stop trying to justify whatever you're doing out in public.

Hmmmmm, reminds me when I was doing shore patrol and two sailors were talking in very explicit detail about their last dates with their girl friends.

First, I gave them the eye and that didn't work. Next, a glare and no effect. I finally had to go over to them and say in a low voice, "You are in a family place. Either tone down your conversation or take your meal elsewhere." Oh, Lieutenant, give us a break! "That's your only choice." They got up and left.

Afterwards, the manager talked to me saying that he was about to ask me to do something about them.

SIGH! On one side of the coin, there was the self doubt in myself that I didn't take more effective action quicker. On the other side, though, when I was doing military police work and related it to my senior chief, the chief of police, a few years later, he told me that was just escalation of police force. If the minimal doesn't work, you move up to the next step.

A and B. A: That's police work for you, you can't please everyone all the time. B: It is, of course, a little bit different in the Navy in that if I saw troops doing things inappropriate for the surroundings, I could tell them to stop.

BUT......the golden arches is a family place, then, now. It is a fool's folly to expect to be able to do Adult play there.

Let's not pretend that public breastfeeding is still taboo...like watching or performing sex in public.

So a woman can breastfeed in public but a man can't watch a movie? Will it be a matter of time before we see this in Congress or a State house?

Australian senator breastfeeds baby while moving a motion in parliament

Thoughts?
A woman feeding her child in a public place is nowhere near the same thing as a man watching porn in a public place (especially a public place that is geared towards children). The fact that you simply want to get a rise out of people by saying both are/have been taboo and for people to just let this man enjoy his "movie" is just stupid.

He deserved to be arrested. Plain and simple.

There possibly weren't any kids in there during that porn watching session but he's done it multiple times before and was asked to stop by management and refused. So are you assuming he only goes in at 11 p.m to mooch off the Wi-Fi to watch porn? I'm going to guess he has impulse control issues with no regard for how his choices impact others, based on that I suspect he wouldn't have qualms about loading up the porn with kids in the vicinity. I say haul his dumb ass off and charge him.

Did they ask him to just turn it off? Or did they ask him to leave?

I may have missed it.

I'm not.

My point is that the comparison is ridiculous.

Both watching porn and breast feeding are better done in private. Most would agree. The thing is, feeding an infant is a necessity and isn't always going to be needed at convenient times. A mother may have to feed her child at an unideal time. I guess babies are just too inconsiderate to always wait to be hungry until they get home. We as a society should understand this and not treat it as if it's overly controversial.

Porn on the other hand is entirely unnecessary. There's is no circumstance in which anyone would need to watch porn at any given moment.

Possibly no kids around 11pm? Assuming impulse control issues? No qualms about uploading porn to kids? Wow man! You just have to justify reasons for your beliefs; even after we shut down the kids argument, you can find a way to still include the kids. This herd mentality is real!

I would think eating and drinking in Parliament isn't done either. Let's all just whip out our ham and cheese sandwiches and cans of soda.

Does your office allow women to bring children into your workplace? Then why is it okay to bring an infant to Parliament? It's a shame you have to tell educated people basic workplace etiquette.

Ever hear of breast pumps and daycare or sitters?
