There's should never have been any exceptions. The San Bernardino wife would have qualified as family. She was also Pakistani I believe showing again this ban doesn't go far enough and the Supreme Court messed up in limiting it.

Nothing wrong with slowing down issuance of visas or refugees granted entry but something wrong with denying entry to those with proper papers -- which the first two orders did not account for.
You stated the Trump travel ban only stops tourists. That is 100% incorrect.

But I will also point out that most of the terrorists who have come into the USA have done so on tourist visas.
By most -- you mean the 9/11 terrorists and none of them were issued visas from the countries listed in the ban.....The visas were issued from Saudia Arabia, The Emirates and Germany.

Furthermore this is 2017 not 2001. Things have changed in all those countries.
