However, as the article notes, given the current "War on Birth Control" and the allowance of the Priestly Class into the halls of government, expect that figure to rise after Trump policies take effect.

Hopefully, with Trumps tighter border security, less drugs will flow in.

Is this a support for abortion topic debate ? That would have an impact on birth rates too. No mention of it in the link though. Perhaps its a one sided news story. Darn, we hardly ever see one of those.

Several questions.

For starters, how does Obama get credit for this?

Second, what does the "Priestly Class" mean?

Lastly, we have a shortage of enough kids being born to sustain our society, so shouldn't we be encourage more kids to be had by those who are responsible enough to care for and raise them?

Funny that, how we were warned about over population for decades. Now they want open borders because there ain't enough offspring... (at least in the western world) ?. Meanwhile the needy 3rd world populations are exploding

OP, can you explain how a lower teen birth rate is a reason to Thank Obama or anyone else? Are you going to try and tell us Obama care had something to do with this? If so, you probably know very little about birth control, education and how teens think today. If a young person wants to protect herself from pregnancy she can and has been able to for decades now. It is called birth control and it has been available at free or near free since way before Obama took office. This is the same with sex education. He had nothing to do with it. I am the grandmother of three grown daughters and none of them would give the credit for not getting pregnant as teens to Obama, anymore than my daughters would credit Reagan for their good sense not to have unprotected sex.

No, it's not. 330,000 babies snuffed out in a year is a war on children.
