Like I said, he is not banning gays from serving in the military.

It is about medical readiness. You don't want to keep people suffer from chronic illness in the military.
It is just not worth it.

But if some of you want to make it political, go right ahead.

Wow, the left went nuts much faster than expected. I'll enjoy watching CNN tonight seeing all their liberal heads exploding.

Funny you mentioned that. When exactly did Trump serve in the military? Thanks for your willingness to serve yourself and the almighty dollar, Mr. President.

There are between 1,320 and 6,630 transgender troops in the active-duty force of 1.3 million, according the RAND Corp. which conducted a study for the Pentagon on the issue. Of those troops, RAND estimates that between 30 and 140 would like to seek hormone treatment, and 25 to 130 would seek surgery. The estimated annual price tag: $2.4 million to $8.4 million, per year.

Treatment is estimated to cost as much as $50,000 per soldier
. Treatment generally moves from counseling to hormone therapy, and in relatively rare cases, gender reassignment surgery. A military doctor must deem the treatment medically necessary.

You do you, I'll do me. Why does the small government party refuse to actually govern as conservatives and instead, pander to bible thumpers?
IMO It is made our Governments business by someone changing their identity in the middle of serving in the armed forces.

If you don't want the Government in your business, don't take a Gov't job.
