The "free market" radicals crack me up. You'd think 'Free Market' were a person with feelings and human rights the way people go to bat for it.
Here's a secret, the market doesn't have feelings, and doesn't care how it's operated. Stop projecting your personal feelings on an abstract idea.
Oh I got bad news for ya fella.
Capitalism is the default setting of a human because it falls under anarchy. It's not an "abstract idea" it's the only moral interaction two human beings can possibly have with each other.
If you go thru life without any human interaction sure capitalism would never occur. But if you interact with another human capitalism is the only moral exchange possible.
I'd love to see that health care plan. What did it cover?
Tennnesse has no public safety net. That means if they get sick, lose their health insurance, get a disabled child, need to retire early etc, they are in massive financial difficulties and most of the folks at the plant would file for persona bankruptcy.
So people were dying in the streets of Tennessee of illness and starvation?
Of course not due to the safety nets.
Too many extreme liberals think safety nets should include things like cars and vacations.

Of course people in Tennessee were dying because of illness, and not being able to afford medicine and cancer treatment. Thats the whole point of not having a safety net if you become sick and disabled or unemployed. To make sure that the people who fall on hard times are punished, and punished severely. This is the libertarian way.
minimum wages should be set by individual cities or counties, or at most, the state. There should not be a national minimum wage enforced on every jurisdiction in the country.
Having lived there 17 years, never saw 1 dying of illness over money.
PCAL,
Provide documentation including specific names, pictures of them fading away, city and state they resided in, etc.
You want pictures as proof that people in Tennessee die as a result of not being able to afford medicine and cancer treatments? Where do you think people go when they cant afford the life saving medicine they need? You can beg for money, but if you dont have the money, you die. This is the smell of freedom.
Minimum wage should be set between consenting adults, and what happens between consenting adults is none of the business of anybody including the government.
The dollar is the reserve currency. A strong dollar guarantees demand. As our debt increases and population decreases due to a lower birth rate, the math doesn't work. A perpetuity requires an increase in population to guarantee that inflation repays the debt. What to do? Illegals. Pay them slave wages, don't really try too hard to deport them, and make sure they have lots of babies. Citizen babies.
In Europe they don't have Mexicans. They had to make due with Muslims.
Come on boys. This isn't rocket science. It's just basic Finance 101.
If it were up to conservatives, every single worker would work for pennies, have no healthcare, no retirement, no protections from hazardous conditions, no protections from harassment, no vacation time, no time off for pregnancy, no sick time, work unlimited hours for no overtime pay and be required to kiss the *** of a CEO every time they clock in. It's pretty disgusting these same people are always screaming about "America First" when they couldn't give less of a crap about the actual people.
