More likely Trump was bloviating this up to distract from the increasingly clear evidence of the Russian connection.
That's going to be the big story, not Trump's idiotic tweets, Kate's Law, or the travel ban. It's not likely to break all at one time, but by bits and pieces.
And -- there is no way no how a man like Trump isn't going to do a victory lap for every little thing.
Thing is -- the people spinning for him -- officially and not officially -- are more clever than he could ever hope to be.
There will be an attempt to spin his childish meme tactics with the video ......you wait.
Oh, yes, there will be claims that Trump has a great quirky sense of humor and wanted to share it with the American people for their entertainment and enjoyment - and it's those same American people, particularly the Democrats, who are just too humorless and stodgy and judgmental to appreciate our wonderful Leader and his benevolence.
The MSM doesn't have to do anything. They just report on his idiocy, which is their job, and Trump and his cultists sink deeper and deeper into a hole 100% of their own making.
The MSM is obsessed with Trump. Part of it is ratings and part of it is they thinking they can take him down. Neither reason has anything to do with reporting the news. Neither is good journalism. They report what he wants them to report. They cannot help it. Meanwhile the travel ban is at least partially in place, new laws in place against illegals and what is left of Obamas legacy is all but gone. Apparently the wall is moving forward. But you call all talk about the tweets all day long. Good.

I have never been more embarrassed or disgusted with our president until now. I'm a moderate democrat. No, I didn't like when Bush was elected because of his polices. But I did respect him because he respected our country and others. This is leadership to me. I actually find it really disturbing that Trump's supporters love his hatred of people in our country just because they didn't support him
