Maybe he could go to the Statue of Liberty on the 4th, hold a placard with the Unemployment Rate on it and light what's on top of his head, on fire! That would top the Macy's fireworks display!

Haha! Yep.

Obama has seen positive job growth for over 6 years straight, but Trump supporters keep saying how terrible Obama was.

And Trump has done it for only 5 months, but Trump supporters want to acknowledge that "accomplishment"

Again, the double standards from Trumpers are hilarious

Your right! The MSM so wanted a horse race in this election, that the standing joke was that as long as trump didn't throw his feces around, he was far more electable than HRC.

We elected a psychotic man-child. The only things he will accomplish will be the result of the rational World's fear of what he might do.

Oh, if you have the intelligence of a turnip, the above was my "snowflake" way of saying that trump has had nothing to do with the unemployment rate.

However, all we have been hearing about is Russia this and Russia that. Why does the MSM continue to ignore Trump's economic prowess and fail to admit that the Republicans are responsible for a historic 16-year low in the unemployment rate thanks to the efforts by the Trump Administration?
The biggest problem for Trump.. he takes credit for everything .. regardless who legislated or made decision to cause upticks or in THIS CASE downticks of Unemployment!!

I recall as Unemployment rose well above the 10+% when BO took office and had to dig down to turn that around.. WHEN Unemployment started to go down... GOP claimed.. Napa.. It only means people went off the employment market... nothing to do with jobs .

What or how did BO frame it... Yes, unemployment went down, BUT there's A lot of work to do. Most these jobs were taken into the " WHAT WAS" the normal young people jobs.. ala minimum wage jobs in fast food or Walmart , Target, Restaurant Industries. These jobs forced University/College educated folks to take those jobs in order to put food on the table!!

But Trump has always claimed false narratives since I first heard about him.. His claims 95% of the time always turned out to be fu$$ of BS!! Anyone who had bankruptcy at his level, forced to seek $$ from Russian Oligarchy needs realize... Trump is a Crook and Speaks with "Fork Tongue" yet the lowest common denominator/or those desperate voted for this Idiot-in-Chief will eventually realize how WRONG they were!

In the meantime, thanks for your Constitution... Trump will be held accountable by the voters after that "Lightbulb" goes on!! Unfortunately, erosion of Citizen Civil Rights will occur! The longer GOP politicians cover for this A$$h@t continues.. the worse it's going to be for them!! This has gone way past Tea Party activism> Trump and his close confidents are doing their best to undermine American democracy!!

Good American citizens .. I feel sorry/pity what position Trump and his Oligarchy Close circle put you into! McConnell and Ryan too are being tested... So far, they both are failing!!

Because he has not made any policy changes or passed any laws that would have had time to take effect. The coaster is still riding down the previous hill.

Do a 10 year graph -- PLEASE.

lol.
Obama set a trend that started 75 months before he left office. if Trump can't keep that trend going I don't know what to think.

Exactly. Trump has done NOTHING policy wise that would affect the economy. Nada.

Hell, we're still in in Obama's Fiscal Year. Federal gov't budget is from Oct 2016 - Sep 2017.

Sorry, you are right.

That is a graph of the unemployment rate for the United States of America provided by the US Department of Labor - Bureau of Labor statistics.

Thank you for pointing that out.

Hopefully, he won't be in office that long to see it go up! But for whoever follows him, if that person is a Democrat, you can sure bet that Turtle Boy McConnell and Eddie Munster Ryan will be screaming that he or she ruined the Donald's MAGA economy!
