I'm not buying Warren as the candidate. It would divide the party and fail to get the turn out needed.

You want a statesperson, and Trump got elected. I don't think Americans want a statesperson, just yet. They gotta get it out of their system first.

Me neither.

At this point in 2001, people thought Tom Daschle was going to be the 2004 candidate to run against Bush.

People should stop trying to predict the candidate until after the 2018 midterms. Any name that's dropped today probably won't be the candidate.

Actually, popularizing a pc mouthful like "statesperson" may be a tougher sell.

What's next? Streets with personhole covers?

Time to person up?

Oh the hupersonty?

I am an independent that loathes Trump. I am actually hoping for something extremely unlikely - a lgitimate Republican contender to oppose him in the primariess in 2020. Not sure how often that has happened (the party of the sitting president nominating someone other than the president) but at this point......

I am still intrigued to see what the Trumpster can do. It's early yet.

Pretty impressive that he cornered Comey and then ditched him. Plus, the recent set-up of several high-profile media outlets was exquisite. He played them, they fell for it like the dipsh*ts they are, and they lost.....bigly.

That's called swamp draining, folks!

We say spokesperson already. It's common parlance now. Are you upset you can't say Negro anymore when referring to black people, too?

I really do think it could be Warren. The Bernie wing likes her it seems and the Hillary win will also want to push since she is a woman.
