Let me understand this..we make another deal to sell weapons to Taiwan--infuriating China.
We send a US naval vessel to within 12 miles, (the internationally recognized boundary), of islands they claim in the South China Sea and infuriate China.
Then...we ask China to help with NK.
You don't have the correct Timeline - we started by accepting the previous "One China" policy in regards to Taiwan and making it clear that a Chinese takeover of the Islands off the coast of Japan is unacceptable. We moved forward with a THADD system in South Korea to protect from a North Korea attack. In return - China was to move forward with their own Sanctions to North Korea.
China forced South Korea to stop the THADD installation, resumed the South China Seas takeover and has done very little to make it clear to North Korea that they must stop with the Missiles. Now they face a "new deal" and it didn't take 8 years to do that while North Korea accelerates.
Bomb NK? give me a break! When will Americans learn?! Stop being world police.
I don't think bombing NK is the answer but how is a specific future threat to the U.S. mainland only a "world police" matter?
