A president that actually cares.

President Trump offers to help terminally ill 10-month-old UK baby Charlie Gard

No offers of help from the "caring" left though. So much for the Clinton foundation.

The child is terminally ill, and brain damaged. There is no hope or help for him. Trump's tweet on the matter is just hypocritical bs. He wants to help a British child who is beyond help, while working to deprive US citizens of their health insurance.

This!! Trump is a hypocritical grandstander. What about the Syrian refuge children he turned away? What about taking healthcare away from American children?

Remember the POTUS saw it on cable tv and said to himself wow what a great way to deflect from the trump care problem.

Mean while the GOP wants us all to die before our time.

Trump is doing what he does best, staging another Dog & Pony Show. Like most con-men he knows the value of amusing and distracting his marks.

TBF - a lot of top Doctors and Medical Experts from across the globe gave evidence to the Courts and it was on the basis that the condition was not curable and that the baby was in significant pain with a poor quality of life, that a decision was made.

The csse was heard at the Family Division of the High Court then on appeal by the Court of Appeal then on further appeal by the UK Surpreme Court and ro a final appeal at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg in France, and all four courts came to the same conclusion. The case was even independently reviewed by Spanish Doctors who came to exactly the same conclusion as the British Doctors at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

This decision was not taken lightly and there was significant medical opinion given by some of the most highly respected medical experts in this field of medicine.

Typical Trump. Anything to insert himself into the news. Multiple organizations have pronounced this case hopeless, so this is like tossing a nickel into a homeless person's cap.

Wow, they sure spent a lot of money flying in all those "top Doctors and Medical Experts from across the globe."

Seems to me they could let the baby get some experimental treatment in the U.S. that they don't even have to pay for.

The only reason to object is because "Trump is for it".

I love all the "compassion" being shown by the anti-Trumps.

They'll let a kid die just to make Trump "wrong".

If he did not show any interest in helping this family, then he would be criticized for that.....just can't win.

We paid for our family health insurance for 18 years, $18,000 - $20,000 a month. Obamacare made it worse.....we paid more for less. We struggled to make this payment every month. It was our responsibility, not arguing about that. Middle class were not given any kind of break.....made it worse. Those under Obamacare who have a lower income are given government subsidies, they are being helped. Again, the burden falls on the middle. We never hear about this. All we keep hearing about is people will no longer have insurance. I don't mind people who are able bodied, working and contributing members of society getting assistance/subsidies. That is fine. My point is....perhaps those that can will have to take on more responsibility under the new plan. Those that can't, will in one way or the other be assisted. Sorry I am off topic and venting, but there is another side of this too.
