That dude's racist and anti-semitic post history was outed by other reddit users immediately after the president sent the tweet. No one had to locating the origin of anything. Anyone looking to find his real identity could do so in under 10 minutes, so it's hardly investigative journalism on CNN's part. In fact, it's downright silly.
But if he publically makes a statement we don't like in the future we'll make sure we use the full weight of our brand to let the world know exactly who he is.

Again...would it have been better if they just posted his name, and all about him? This is a gift rarely given to people who act horribly. and it was based on his statements that he wont act horribly in the future. He said horrible things...in your world your words have no consequences?
Why did they care who made it in the first place? It was Trump who posted it to Twitter. I knew they would flip out over it but figured they would keep after Trump. This is a new low.
Heck if I know why CNN cares. The first thought on Reddit was that Trump's social media director might have made it since he is known to be active on /r/The_Donald, a place no one with any dignity should be hangin out. If anything I hope this sheds some light on how much of a sycophantic, cultist cesspool that place it.

i've been hit with a few cease and desists in my career. some i've successfully fought and some i've conceded or settled. they all have contained language forbidding future upsetting public statements about the brand.
All this does is show the level of POS-ness that Trumpettes are. Think about all the BS stories that Conservative rags have printed about innocent people w/o ever having had members of that organization's staff dox'd?
Now we have CNN going beyond anything they're required to do to protect someone's identity, and now they've had their news team dox'd.
They are mighty good at losing, as ratings demonstrate.
