I said it less than 12 hours ago that CNN would regret messing with 4chan and reddit....I was right as usual. They just opened a can of worms that won't soon stop.
Yes, they unmask people for living, and they themselves are as unmasked as you can get.
The problem is 4chan publishing their home addresses, and that resulting in them receiving threats of rape and violence from alt-right and Trump supporters.
Yeah... telling people the name of the creator of a meme isn't the same as posting the kid's home address, school he attends, his DL number, and his SSN.
Subtlety is lost on people.

Part of me thought: What if CNN had a part in creating the wrestling video? (or some kind of involvement) They cry and whine and get more viewers, if only for a little while.... They talk about it non-stop. ....What if they are in cahoots in some way, .....anything to boost their horrible news format.
Gif maker takes credit. All his hitler youth buddies in the Reddit subgroup heap praise on him. No a hard investigation when the guy raises his hand. No wonder it took less than 24 hours.
This altright group was the source of memes on about a half dozen times in the trump campaign. Of course it makes sense for cnn to look into that as it is news.
Donald trump Jr. Was one of the biggest spreaders of the false 15 year old narrative that again came from this group. Jr. Has Been known to monitor this group.

I agree with this. Two wrongs don't make a right, and doing this only diluted what CNN did.
Like I said earlier, as soon as CNN blackmailed this guy (not a kid as we thought) the hacking groups would take offense and start acting as his surrogates. Messing with internet freedom, as they did, is the #1 thing hackers hate.
I fully expect there are groups planning DDOS and worse against them.
Then don't read it. I prefer them to FAKE news like CNN,MSNBC etc you are free to read and listen to who you like just like I am.
