Notice how every Conservative here is just scrolling past these questions as if they don't see them?

Ironically, what she doesn't seem to realize is that the highest praise she can possibly give to the flag and this country is the fact that she feels safe enough and secure enough here in America to do something like **** all over the flag with no fear of government agents showing up at her house to take her on a one way trip to nowhere.

In a world where BILLIONS of people spend their lives looking over their shoulders and living in fear of what might happen if they say the wrong thing, here's this lady essentially screaming "I have so much freedom I can **** on it!"

One of the best demonstrations of freedom and America's greatness I've seen in a long time. Thank you!

Where do we draw the line here? Is she right or wrong? Does she have a right to live in the U.S. and earn a living here or collect welfare checks?

According to some news there is a $3000 bounty on her head now, which doesn't seem right either.

Should there be a law to protect the dignity of the American flag?

Thoughts ?
Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences of said speech. Defamation laws are real and enforceable. And you also cannot yell "fire" in a crowded theater and hope for no repercussions.

Freedom of Speech, Not Freedom From Consequences

You have the right to say whatever you want (and the government cannot stop you) - but depending on that speech, you could face consequences.

That said, I think this particular act shouldn't (and won't) come with any consequences. I don't agree with the act, but I support her right to do that. No one is being defamed or hurt by her actions. Pee on, lady.

While gross and distasteful, this simple act is kind of an amazing illustration of what a great country this is.
