And what does that say? That there is no difference in the two parties. Both are huge sell outs to Wall Street.

And if it was Romney that passed the ACA, not a single Republican would he opposed to it. The only opposition to the ACA is all because a Democrat, especially a black Democrat, passed it. That's all, it's all pure partisan politics Trump could come out and say he wants the GOP to make Medicare available for all, and the wingnut right, that all suspiciously absent from this thread as of this post, would lap it up and ask for seconds and say it's the greatest idea since sliced bread

She likes what she has, but only because she's not intelligent enough to understand that it's the ACA that provides her coverage. She voted for the GOP who is planning on taking her coverage away, and probably will be shocked and surprised if that actually happens, even though it's what she voted for.
Do you not know the difference between intelligence and ignorance? Someone who doesn't know something isn't necessarily not intelligent. They may just be ill informed. There are lots of things I don't know but that doesn't mean I'm not intelligent enough to learn them.

And the "left" (I am reluctant to call them that) would have screamed and yelled about the huge subsidies to the Insurance and Pharmaceutical lobbies.

when Romneycare was proposed, Mass. was balancing their budgets. Let's revisit Obamacare when the US is balancing theirs.

The democrats have always had the "high school or less" demographic all locked up.

They still have the majority of "high school or less".....even today.

But in the last election the republicans peeled off some of that vote, and now the democrats are pointing at these former democrats and saying, "look how stupid republicans are".

The only thing is, if these people are truly stupid as the democrats on this board say they are, then the democrats still have the majority of the stupid people voting for them. I guess they don't insult their own stupid people though. That would be counterproductive.

The Democrats didn't have the numbers in 2009 to pass any form of public option. That's a fact. But as a whole, the Democratic party still supports some form of UH in vastly larger numbers than Republicans, so if we're ever to get there, it will most likely be through the Democratic party.

But yeah, you go ahead and continue to vote for Republicans who want NO single payer option of any sort--even though that's what you claim you want--because we haven't gotten enough Democrats who support it in office yet to get it done. That's a great solution.

not even close to accurate

Education, Not Income, Predicted Who Would Vote For Trump | FiveThirtyEight

Behind Trump's victory: Divisions by race, gender and education | Pew Research Center

Remember, Trump LOVES the poorly educated, and that's where his victory came from. Not just "peeled off some of that vote" - consistent with prior elections, less educated people are more likely to vote GOP.

Why are Liberals too stupid to understand that, while Obamacare may have helped some people , it screwed over a lot more than it helped?

Why are Liberals too stupid to understand that health insurance is not healthcare?

Why are Liberals too stupid to understand that simply having coverage is kind of useless if your premiums and deductibles are so freaking high that you can't afford to actually USE your the heath insurance you're paying for?
