According to Wiki, they started their war in 2014. It is a good example of why Wiki is hardly a solid source as the war never ended but all the same..........

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraqi_...2%80%93present)

A Civil War is generally internal so one has to shake their heads at Wiki noting our involvement......I guess we are never going to leave and consider Iraq ours.

yes in a way, the leaders of the party from Biden, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, John Kerry voted YES in the Senate for the war........Bush couldn't fund the war without their votes.

Might as well make it official before that FDR was helping the British with unlimited war supplies and the Soviet Union .......Germany had no intentions of invading the U.S.....WW 2 was basically a continuation of WW 1 and imperialism of the same old European empires and who gets to call the shots in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

FDR did everything he could to get us involved in Europe and the Pacific, you just had to take real history and look at all his moves and motives before Pearl Harbor.......Japan would had NEVER attack the U.S. if FDR didn't put an oil embargo on Japan and move the entire Pacific Fleet from San Diego, California to Hawaii (which was a territory that the U.S. took illegally but that's another chapter in our history) . He did others things.

Everything FDR did was to get us involved in both fronts......I guess he never follow the advise of our founding fathers to never get involved in Europe's wars.....ever since then we have been all over the world in endless wars and endless occupations payed in American blood and Trillions of tax payers dollars and there is no end to it.

BOTH parties--which are actually one unified "Republicrat" party--are parties of war.

That's what happens with every Military Empire in the history of humankind.

So amusing how Pubs twist themselves inside out trying to shift the blame for their disastrous Iraq folly.

House Vote:

Pub: 215 yay 6 nay

Dem: 82 yay 126 nay
Senate Vote:

Pub: 48 yay 1 nay

Dem: 29 yay 21 nay
Summary:

Pub: 263 for, 7 against

Dem: 111 for, 147 against

Carry on.

WWII - We went to war because we got attacked. No president would let that slide.

You conveniently left out these.

Gulf War One - Bush Sr put us in a war we didn't want to be in because of our interests in Kuwait.
Afghanistan - Bush Jr put us in this war and we were all gung ho about it at first but we are still dealing with it.
Gulf War Two - Bush Jr put us in this war that nobody wanted to be in.

And we wonder why nothing that would actually be beneficial to the American people is ever truly pushed by our Congressmen and women, but yet they all have nice salaries and live in nice homes in gated communities and have their children go to private schools....... And the American people keep voting them in, term after term, without really taking stepping back and wondering, what are those Congressmen really doing for us?
