Next week hopefully we'll have TrumpCare and TrumpTax to talk about.
Happy Trumpday anti-Trumplings.
Actually it seems more likely we will be talking about why the GOP Congress doesn't care that Trump just granted a pardon to all four and himself including all crimes he committed before he ran for office.
I am confused will hearings of JR and Kushner be public? Or behind closed doors?
The leaders of the Senate Judiciary Committee have cut a deal with President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., and former campaign chairman Paul Manafort to avoid being subpoenaed for a high-profile public hearing next week, with the two men agreeing to provide records to the panel and to be privately interviewed ahead of any public session. "outsider" does not mean he has no access, no friends, no supporters. It means he is not openly or covertly widely embraced by the status quo.
Trump has plenty of Supporter in the FBI, CIA, NSA etc. It is not as if FBI splits much different than society as a whole, so you could expect Trump to have access to some data in each department. Clearly not all and it tends to be compartmentalized to reduce leakage, but plenty nonetheless.
(was that "geniues" enough for ya?)
Nice story, but I'm not really buying it.
As a whole that's probably true of the agencies, but I doubt its true of the DC offices of these agencies.
And certainly, it doesn't jive with the narrative the left has been slinging for the last 6 months about how much the intelligence community hates the President.
If not genuine than it can not be an intelligence leak. It would be propaganda. Fake news. He called it an illegal leak of intelligence.
Well that is a lot of parsing of words and Trump is not generally that precise of a communicator. So like I said, we will see where it goes or if it amounts to anything.
So they got confirmation from the WH but failed to report that to bolster their story? Seems sort of unlikely.
Based on the timing not really. If WAPO was sitting on it they had previously called all around for confirmation. They require two confirmations. WH would have been previously contacted and aware of their evidence. Suddenly they get more confirmation from Intel? Doubtful.

Well if he is that lousy with the English language that is on him. And definitely a reason not to allow him in one on ones with Putin.
