A guest at an AirBnB was pushed down a steep flight of steps for apparently checking out a few minutes late in a horrific video posted to Instagram.
Well, that was an overreaction!

The stairs in Amsterdam can be very steep, & that is a horrific thing for any host to do. I would like to know how late they were in the check out, more details needed.

In what way is this political?

Is punctuality a hot topic being discussed in Amsterdam?

Noted. Thanks.

Looked to me like the Dutch dude was being more of a d*ck than a racist.

It looks like the guests were guilty of taking their sweet time leaving and probably aggravated the host. That didn't give him the right to get physical and push her down the stairs. Idiots vs jerk, everybody loses.
Why is everybody in Europe so rude and violent and backwards?

My checkout time is 11AM for my Airbnb. I have guests checking in at 3PM and can't allow guests to remain after the stated time. I'd take some of their $500 security deposit instead of getting into an "issue".
