Credit to Seattle radio hosts John Carlson and Kirby Wilbur for pointing this out.
There have been two remarkably similar shootings in the Seattle area recently. In one case, a 30 year old black woman with a history of mental illness called police to her apartment, falsely reporting a burglary. When police arrived, she greeted them with an epithet, and was holding two knives. Police repeatedly ordered her to drop the knives; she didn't, and advanced on them. They had no choice but to shoot.
Local media blew up over the story, and it went national. Both the NY Times and Washington Post covered it. In virtually every story there was mention of the woman's race (black) and the race of the officers (both white).
In another incident, a man called 911 and said that he had a weapon, would be driving erratically and speeding, and he wanted to attack an officer. When state troopers pulled him over, he got out and advanced on them with a knife. Again, police had no choice but to shoot him.
This story has thus far been covered quite differently. There was no mention of either the man's race, or of race of the troopers. Presumably that means that both were white. There have been no vigils, no accusations of 'murder,' and little national coverage.
If the media and left treat two similar cases so differently, solely based on the skin color of those involved, does that make them racist? I say that it does.
I would say it might be racist.
I believe there is more to it than that.
Race is the low hanging fruit to bring about political change, cause division, and produce the anarchy desired to destabilize the country. That is where radical change can get a foothold.
My problem is with the whole "they had no choice but to shoot" nonsense.
The United States isn't the only nation with rampant wack jobs walking around. Other first world nations have mentally whacked out people that do crazy things too. All the years I lived in Europe, they'd have crazy episodes like these and the Italian Carabinieri or the German Polizei regularly found non lethal ways to deal with crazed people.
But in this country, the cops NEVER have any other choice but to shoot people dead.
Land of the free and home of the frickin brave, right?

First of all, nobody ever said that cops never have any other choice. I said that was the case in these two incidents. Google the Tueller drill sometime.
Knives are indeed deadly weapons. I am no fan of our present day police, but they have the right to defend themselves against deadly attack like anyone else. If a cop is attacked with a knife from a distance less than 21 feet, generally speaking they indeed have no choice but to shoot. In the case of the woman who was shot in Seattle, she was three feet away when shot (indoors).
All this is really off-topic, however. The topic is the racism of the left and media. It's a kind of backdoor racism, but racism nonetheless. And it appears that no liberals out there have any arguments to show otherwise.

It's not off topic because you said they had no choice but to shoot. I disagree.

Consider that 155 American tourists a year are killed/murdered abroad while vacationing. A recent one is still making headlines today. Any guesses why?

I cant think of which one you are reffering to.
