Oh look, someone else who didn't bother to read the email Don Jr. just released himself proving he colluded with Russia.

The desperation from you guys to defend treason is insane.

Think about it. What would the Clinton campaign do to get dirt on Trump? Of course they would try anything and everything they could to shut him down. They encouraged people to disrupt his campaign appearances. We still don't know about Fusion GPS which was hired the Clinton camp to discredit Trump. It is not surprising that somebody, even a Jr, in the Trump campaign did not want dirt on Hillary - she was instrumental in giving Russia uranium. Considering that Russia has most of the missiles targeting the US; I would think that would be a greater worry. What is the possibility that some of that uranium could be sent back home?

As far as the Russian lawyer's connection to her government; do we accuse every Mexican of being part of a cartel or working for the Mexican government? Unless we have information that she was working for her government; then I do not think they have too much of a case. We tend to hide 'proof' like that behind the stamp of 'classified'.

From all follow up information on that meeting; it went no place. It is amazing how many want it to go some place!

It's going to get really ugly folks ... but in the end - one way or another - Trump and his cabal are going down.
We can only hope. His supporters are a serious threat to this country and need to be taken down.

The following is strictly an educated guess based on knowledge about how Trump ran/runs his business, and how he depends on his family. I don't think many could argue that he doesn't depend on his family.

I cannot imagine that Jr. and Jared did not inform Daddy of the meeting. That would truly be the opposite of the way this family operates. What is that saying, "A zebra doesn't change it's stripes?"

Lefty, crybaby, libs, butthurt, etc.

Keep it coming talk radio loving losers. Your ship is going down and no matter how much "nothing to see here" your heroes Hannity and Limbaugh try to sell you, the reality of it is going to hit you eventually. This Trump Jr. e-mail thing, if it doesn't start the process of getting him impeached, at a minimum destroys any political capital he already had and makes him a lame duck.

The even bigger concern is that Trump supporters make up an inordinately large portion of the military and law enforcement ranks. When push comes to shove will they defend Trump? Will they side with the people?

Like I said, it's going to get ugly ... we're going to see things we all swore we would never see in the United States

Yes, obviously. He confessed, and in the emails which he released it is clear he knew the person he was meeting was a Russian government lawyer.

That's what Mr. Mueller and the other congressional committees are working on. Just be patient.

The real question here is why Russia, a long time nemesis of the U.S, would put effort into trying to get Trump elected?

What's in it for Russia?

Mutual benefit. Russia wanted sanctions lifted and Trump wants to expand his business interests in Russia.
