What's not ok is talking to them about how the Russian government is supporting your campaign. And then having every member of your team lie about it. Repeatedly.

Lets say he DID talk to the Russians about supporting his campaign...what laws were broken? Don't say collusion, if you do, you have no clue what the meaning of collusion really is....
