I'm thinking she maybe looked like Aunt Jemima( like an old fat white guy with a beard might look like Santa Claus) and what he said might have been just bone headedly insensitive and stupid and perhaps not really racist. But I heard The Pigeon on Urban Sirius this morning urging black people to lash out at what they perceive to be racism. He's a race baiter and a hate merchant, but he's sending a dangerous message to those who listen to him that might not know better than to take his crap seriously.
So....are you saying that when black people are targeted in a professional environment, like in a doctor's office, they should just let people call them any old racist/prejudiced/stereotypical epiteth that the people in that business would like to call said black person and they should just "get over it?" ETA: I don't even know who the DJ is you are talking about, but if I'm in a professional environment and I'm confronted with racist words/phrases, then I always say something and "lash out." I'll also file a formal complaint and I advise all black people to do the same thing. And we should do it more often. We don't need a DJ to tell us to do these sorts of things. I'm thinking you may be speaking of Joe Madison and he is nothing compared to the stuff that other black morning DJs say regularly. It is funny to me that you think that all us blacks are going to go out and do something, I guess from your use of the word "lash" that you think we will resort to violence, which is silly and stereotypical to think would occur.
And FWIW if an "old fat white guy with a beard" went to the doctor for his health concerns, he should NEVER be called "Santa Claus" in front of medical students by his physician. That is insulting and unprofessional and shouldn't happen. It is also prejudiced and stereotypical, same as this doctor calling the woman Aunt Jemima.

If being called "Aunt Jemima" traumatizes her to this extent, she's either got mental issues, or she's lived an extremely sheltered life. Time for her to grow up.
Exactly, blacks are over sensitive to every thing said. I told a black kid I was going to call the police and have him escorted out of the building, he said, "why because I'm black" I wanted to tell him no, it is because you are an a-hole and had nothing to do with you being black. I am beginning to believe blacks don't want to be held accountable for anything and use racism as an excuse.

What was the black kid doing to make you call the police?
And what does the woman who was called Aunt Jemima need to be held accountable for?

Since when was Aunt Jamima a racial slur. As far as the kid was concerned, he was being an obstinate teen not doing what he was told, rules are there for a reason, he violated them.

There is an episode of Adam-12 (a show from the late 1960s) where the two cops are giving the Police Commissioner a ride along. The PC happens to be a black women.
They encounter some young punks causing trouble and proceed to arrest them. The lead punk asks who the women is. She shows him her badge and PC identification.
The punk cackles and replies, "Well, look what we got here! A genuine Aunt Jemima!"
So I reckon its been a slur since at least the late 60s although I admit a TV show is not the best piece of evidence.
If people would fast more often and eat healthy, they wouldn't even have to see physicians in the first place. Unfortunately, it's not a priority in the US. The priority is to buy a Mercedes and a McMansion.
But wow, that guy is an idiot.
