low hanging fruit that will be there for the dems come 2020... Hell all the dems need to do is get Obama to demand Trump reverse this and then it will ensure Pai gets away with it and the dems can add NN to their platform for 2020.

Trump is the worst politician i have ever seen, this was yet another easy win he turned into a loss.
It's not a loss.

Read what his supporters are saying. Yes, this is bad for them and everyone else, but they're too blinded by ignorance and anti-government rage to even realize what's happening.

We've been having this debate since the 1990s and it's been a major issue for years now, yet they still have no idea what it's about and just rant senselessly about government control and occasionally mutter some nonsense about everyone being forced to have the same speed connection.

It's important to understand that these people cannot be swayed by facts. They run on raw emotion.

Face it, shilling for Comcast and posting links to propaganda pieces is not going to convince anyone. The internet we have is free and open communication, and you want to end that. It's a direct attack on Freedom of Speech, and you want everyone to send money to your corporate masters on the vague promise that things will be better if you have to pay more for them.

Lunacy.

We agree on a few things, but this is one example where you are coming off as ignorant, especially with the spoon fed info in your link. I'm really surprised that you can't make better sense of what Net Neutrality is, v. What you've been told it is. Do you work for an ISP?

No they couldn't before NN, they had to abide by the 1st amendment, like Ma Bell had to with telephones.

Websites and domains being removed today, after NN, is censorship. Example: Stormfront. As racist as they are, they have a right to do and say what ever they want, as long as it is not to over thrown our government.

Do a little research, twitter, facebook, google, youtube, to name a few have all been censoring.

Funny and ironic with some politicians calling for a ministry of truth to censor/combat "fake news" (i.e. news that paints them in an unfavorable light) folks want to give the state even greater control over the internet.

Firstly there was no before NN, what part of that do you not understand? Secondly NN classifies an ISP in the same category as the phone companies. If you think the rule that a phone company needs to put your call through is a good one then you are supporter of NN...

Stormfront temporarily losing their domain had absolutely nothing to do with NN and I can assure you if it did have anything to do with NN I would vehemently be opposed to NN.

NN requires that your ISP give you equal access to Stormfront as they would any other site, what part of that do you not understand? Without NN the ISP could unilaterally block access to it.

These are not ISP's Frank, they are content providers. If you do not like the policies of twitter, Facebook, Google or YouTube you can choose to use some other content provider.

NN insures your ISP is going to give you equal access to other sites and services.

Sinking in yet?

If you think that your electric company should charge you more per kilowatt to power a refrigerator compared to a toaster, Net Neutrality is not for you.

If you think that your electric company should be able charge you more per kilowatt to power GE appliances compared to KitchenAid appliances, Net Neutrality is not for you.

If you think that your mobile phone company should be able to lock you into a 2 year contract and then block all calls and messages to and from another mobile phone carrier, Net Neutrality is not for you.

Try to follow along here. You pay GoDaddy to host your website and you build a site that attacks a certain group of people, let's say people with red hair. You post fake news about red heads and edited photos showing them doing all sorts of awful things. Then tens of thousands of gingers contact your hosting company, GoDaddy and object to your hate filled website, so GoDaddy cancels their hosting agreement with them. That's what happened to Stormfront, and it is the free market that you so dearly love, not an outcome attributable to net neutrality.
