Draftees no, they should all be treated with respect since they had no choice. If someone volunteered to participate in the shameful and immoral Vietnam War, they deserve little sympathy or respect.

hmm, Say if somebody joined the Army before the war, and he couldn't give his government his two weeks notice, Then what?

Were you even alive then? If so, did you fully understand what was at stake versus what you were being told by either the media or the government?

Have you conducted a poll of all surviving veterans to determine how many went to war for any variety of reasons?

How can one cover a whole generation of military personnel by the optics of the war of their period alone?

All of your serving and veteran military personnel deserve the respect due them regardless of their luck of the draw as it applies to "their" war; all of them.

As soon as I graduated high school I received my Greeting induction papers.
