The Bundy's, aren't they the family of moochers who grazed their cattle on public land and refused to pay the fees they owed the government?

No. They are the ones that had paid the state & county, for grazing rights, since the 1870's.

They were willing to pay their town and county their grazing fees. Not the BLM.
THEY showed up armed on a homestead... they goofed big time.

Interesting tidbit of information-veterans showed up armed... what does that say? Who stood by the oath they swore to? Surely wasn't alphabet soup looking to collect revenue...
Except he doesn't live in town, and the county doesn't have any authority to collect grazing fees because they don't own the land. That was just horsepoop on his part. The BLM owns that land. Bundy was sucking off the govt. teat and didn't want to pay for the feeding of his animals. Free range beef like that goes for a high dollar ( grass fed beef is generally found at stores such as Whole Foods ) and he wanted to sell his beef and let the taxpayers underwrite him.

The Feds made huge mistakes in their handling of his welfare cheating, such as showing up during calving season, and being thugs about the protests, but these people are not heroes.

More like when an unstoppable jerk meets an immovable A-hole.

It was horrible for Nevada, and brought people to town that were complete whack jobs. Two of them ended up walking into a pizza joint and executing two cops who were just eating lunch. Then they went to Wal Mart and declared a revolution before one of them had a gun pulled on them by a CCW holder who they shot before barricading themselves in the store.

I see the Bundy's as welfare mommas on horses.

We all pay to play, like it or not.
I have to pay the govt for a lobster permit and I have no problem with it.

They seem to think ALL THAT LAND should just plain be available to them. How about I stake a claim to some public beaches to go clamming? Or, I decide to set up camp on one of the White Mountains.

Federal land is just that... It belongs to all of us. Just because they've been taking advantage of it for a ridiculously low fee gives them no claim to it. In fact, if ANY AMERICAN CITIZEN wants to graze that land they should have equal rights.

I hate their persecution complex, 'oh no, the big bad govt. is after me.'

What if Trump decides to sell it off to some private developer, who they gonna b*tch to then?

THey need to get real jobs and stop living a welfare mentality.

They will not even allow Cliven Bundy to have his own attorney. The Federal Government has appointed him one.
This ain't vigilante justice Bent. Don't try to make it out like it is.

The Bundys are not going to die from their offenses. Cliven can have his own attorney anytime he wants. All he has to do is find one to represent him. Since he's refused to do that after the only lawyer he chose backed out, the government has provided him with defense, just as they are obligated to do.

If you want to find a lawyer for him, just do it. There is nothing stopping you. But stop the cheap tawdry drama, please. it makes you and Cliven both look like overwrought little girls. Cliven doesn't need your help anyway, and never did.

Unless the Constitution has been amended and no one knew it, the BLM has no Constitutional authority to be on the land. It is not a military installation, nor a port of entry.

Judge trashes Cliven Bundy's constitutional rights

Cliven Bundy

Bundy Trial Defendant No Longer Allowed to Act as Own Attorney - The Now Report

Pretty sure he cannot have his own attorney. They will not allow it.

The judge barred Klayman until he shows proof of resolution of his ethics problems relative to conflicts at Judicial Watch. Bundy can get another lawyer, sounds like Klayman is just trying to be in the spotlight. Why can't Bundy just choose another lawyer.

This isn't the case of the century just get a new trial lawyer.

Bundy never had a Lawyer. He doesn't want a lawyer. They are denying him his Constitutional Right to defend himself, because he is using the Constitution against them and has caught them lying 6 times in oral testimony. They will not let him represent himself. You think Cliven Bundy is some old dumb Redneck.... The guy is as sharp as a tack in a mules butt.
They are denying him, the Constitution as a defense.
