There has been a lot of talk and controversy about the Alt-Right and the emergence of an Alt-Left as well. The Alt-Center is a fairly new concept that is still emerging but came about as an Alternative to the Left and Right. Since it a new movement and still evolving it is hard to define but the basic definition is reject the right and left but also against the establishment.

Robert Stark interviews Yan Pagh about the Alt Center - The Stark Truth With Robert Stark

Two years ago a Radical Center was proposed mixing elements of the dissident Right and Dissident left. Basically a hybrid of Ralph Nader and Pat Buchanan but the idea goes further back all the way to the Ross Perot movement.

One of the best examples of an Alt-Centrist would be Ron Unz who was a candidate for CA Senate and runs the Unz Review.

But like with the Alt-Left being used to describe the SJW's the Alt-Center is also being used by establishment media outlets to describe establishment centrist. Basically frame the political discord as the reactionary alt-right, crazy left-wing alt-left, and boring centrist.

There has been an Alt-Left firmly in place for years now. It's no recent emergence.

I've been saying for years that we need a strong "Political Middle". It's so obvious that's where the answers to most issues are. But, the divide and conquer strategy works so well in keeping us from focusing on the biggest issues facing this country. And, unfortunately, most citizens are too dense to see the intentional distraction strategy.

The term Alt-Left is new but the semantics are used differently by different groups. I guess Ralph Nader would be a good example of what you are referring to but influences go back to the early labor movements.

The alt-left is the left minus civil rights. They're the Bernie Bros who resent idpol. I guess alt-center are just racists without any ideology, whatsoever.

The "Radical Center." I love it. Policy number one should be to castrate anyone who isn't a moderate.

Only new to you, Dave. Obama, Soros, HRC, the DNC, BLM and the list goes on and on.....are all radicals with zero moral compass. They revere Saul Alinsky, his tactics and other sick mentors.

If rational people with some backbone and a conscience ever take over the Dem party, you may be back in business.

I love the unz review.

I dont think this will work as pat buchanan has some similarities with bernie and nader on trade but Bernie is still pro amnesty and he still hired people like his press secretary Symone Sanders who said we dont need white people leading the left and is pretty anti white and he supports blm and too many far left idiots that have nothing to do with class issues . The left today really is nothing like the Old Left that put american workers first
