No sugarcoating, no skating around the subject.

"I would not have selected him for AG, if I had known he was going to recuse himself from Russia."

How honest can one be?
Did he hurt Jeff's feelings? No! Jeff has known how "The Donald" has felt about him freaking out and recusing himself too quickly. Other than that, he likes his choice.

The guy isn't too blunt. He isn't too straight forward. He isn't a politician, in your back pocket, either.

I'm liking the guy, more and more, if not just for the openness and brutal honesty.

how stupid- no way in NOV sessions knew what would happen in 2017 -- unless he is a psychic... and that brutal honesty- you will not be happy until we have WW3 right?

Yep. And, oddly, this is part of why Trump hired him in the first place.

Sessions will hang on with both hands and all of his teeth. If Trump is ousted and Pence stays, Sessions will keep his job.

I suspect OP likes the "brutal" part.

I'm not saying Sessions is a saint- he's not, and he was a lousy choice for AG. A smarter President would never have chosen him.
All of Trump's cabinet choices, with the possible exceptions of Gen. Mattis and Tillerson, were bad choices. That's why he made them-------he wanted bad people, to twist this country into a haven for the ultra-rich and drive the rest of us into peonage.

LOL, Trump doesn't want anyone investigating his ties with Russia. Comey was fired. Trump doesn't like how Sessions is more loyal to our country then he is to him. And now Trump wants to block Mueller's investigation. Doesn't that send up red flags to you....obviously not. It does to many of us though.
