Actually, democrats should be keenly interested by this topic given what happened in 2016.

Regardless of whom you'd like to be the democratic nominee the behind the scenes campaign fund building, deal making and arm twisting has already begun.

Considering there is a pretty good chance that they'd also be the next president of the US I'd think dems would be more interested in this topic than repubs.

Question is going to be if Hillary is able to push out any threats to her nomination again and my prediction is yes.
