No change in plans --- YET but it depends on how high the gas prices get.

You always have to look on the bright side, when the prices get pretty high, the highways are less congested and safer.

I will keep driving my gas propelled Hummer wherever I please.

Gas prices are going to keep going up. People need to understand that the reason prices are going up is because supply is going down. Prices will probably be pushing $5 next year, and probably $6 by the summer of 2010.

I am going to get in as much driving as possible before gas completely runs out and we have to start riding horse-and-buggy style again.

CSA stands for community supported agriculture. You pay a farmer a set amount of money and then you get a share of the harvest. If you google CSA and the area you are in, most likely you will find several. Local food doesn't have to be trucked around the country, it is fresher and healthier and if we ate more local food, less gas would be wasted.

On the radio this morning a commentator said the the recent hikes were due to speculators, not supply vs demand.

Think I'll start a new thread on that in hopes of gaining an understanding of the validity of that statement.
