This is just the beginning of the chaos. All those lauding Trump for the market will soon be crying the blues. As Trump falls further into the back hole he has created it will eventually sweep all of us in. Trump love chaos, markets do not. Hugo Trump will be clueless as to what to do.

To make it worse. his supports, like conway, follow him like sheeple. Time for the legislative branch to clean house in the executive branch.
It can still get turned around if it looks like Trump has a chance of passing any of his pro-business legislation. So if tax reform goes better, we'll see.
That said I've been saying for months the US is headed for a situation where the rest of the world reorganizes economically and politically without us as THE major player everyone must accommodate. We will end up with a reduced influence and a weaker (but still large) economy and we won't like it.
Of course if it happens, we'll just point fingers at eachother and fight bitterly among ourselves, making it get even worse.

I agree with your forecast. As Mark Cuban said yesterday "China is kicking our butts in artificial intelligence." Not just AI but other areas of advanced science as well. The biggest mistake the US is making is the anti-science movement and cutting back on science and R&D. Another big mistake is pulling out of the Paris Accord and letting China take the lead on global warming. They are investing huge sums into alternative energy; this will have a spinoff effect for them, they will make new discoveries and make technological advances, leaving us behind.

Well according to Trump and his cult, global warming is a hoax, higher education is dangerous to society since it has been taken over by the far left liberal boogymen and besides the way forward is to bring back manufacturing and coal jobs to the US. AI and too much Science will just take away jobs the manufacturing lines or coal mines.
MAGA by going backwards.........
The dollar rally out of the 2014 3 YCL has fooled everyone into thinking the dollar is strong and the euro is going to collapse. So everyone is now on the wrong side of the market. That’s pretty much how every bear market starts with everyone on the wrong side of the trade.
There has to be consequences to printing trillions and trillions of currency units , and leaving interest rates at 0 for 8 years.
Incidently.......Trump has nothing to do with the feds monetary policy for the last almost nine years.
