Again, bad behavior is always OK as long as others do it too. Another conservative chimes in. Paragons of personal responsibility! Just ask them.

To want us to practice what we preach makes one a Conservative?

In regards to your question. Should a country suspect that the United States has interfered in their elections that country's government has a responsibility to investigate, denounce, and retaliate. Anything short of that is a dereliction of the government's duty to ensure its citizen's rights to a completely independent, internal election process. The past and present sins of the United States government doesn't invalidate that right.
This point has been brought up in the past but always lacking specifics. Good article by the Post, after Rubio's statement there was no follow up. If there was anything there you can believe that the senate or Israel would have brought it to light.

But we should note this line in the Times article: “There is no evidence to suggest that Mr. Obama or any of his senior aides had anything to do with the move by his former top campaign official, who has never worked at the White House, to join the effort to defeat Mr. Netanyahu.”

I think testifying members of the administration should mention these things when they go before House and Senate Committees. Then it becomes part of some official government record.

If there was anything significant in this story you can bet the GOP would have investigated, it's a rather big nothing and just an attempted deflection to dismiss the Russian hacking.

So you want the investigative committees to hold hearings on something that supposedly occurred 3 years ago. I think your priorities are out of order.

The Left who post here on CD have no idea what happened in the world before Twitter was invented.

The irony of what the media reports (& what the left posts) and the lack of historical knowledge is truly breathtaking. Newsflash: (for the past 65 years)......Russia spys & hacks on the US, the US spys and hacks on Russia.....& the sun sets in the west.

There was a thread a week ago where a poster with 10,000 reps didn't even know what disposable income was. Neither does a 14 year old girl. But they both know how to type russia, russia, russia.

Its why we have the term "Sheeple". They are spoonfed a narrative and are told what to feel and think. After all the evil things Obama has done to the UK is absolutely despicable. I am surprised thay still consider us allies.

Why haven't you responded to post 7 & 8, your thread has been sorely lacking of facts. Instead of repeating "they did it", why not present an intelligent argument.

It Ain't whatcha do it's they way that ya do it.

Anybody is free to say what they think. When you steal stuff off a computer and release it, that's is about the same as breaking and entering.

The problem with Wikileaks is that the Russians got into both parties, filtered to get the most damaging information on one party and released it.

Now if they had stolen both Podesta's and Manafort's total campaign info and released all of it, then the theft would have been fair and balanced.

When the USA decided the way to get what they wanted in the government of Chile, they just put out the word that the grapes were poisoned.

In Central America, the CIA prolly funded the group that killed the nuns.

We know all about Ollie North and the drugs for guns and the Iranians. And half of us think Ollie is a hero.

We just need to understand nuance. ;-]

So, stab out #1 ally in the world to placate Russia huh?

Quote:
Here’s what happened: According to WikiLeaks, a series of classified cables were sent from the U.S. negotiators to the State Department explaining that the Russians wanted to know the full extent of Great Britain’s nuclear capability.
Hmm..i wonder why they would want that info..Did Obama even care?

Quote:
Now they were insisting on it as a price for Russian support for the New START deal. They could gauge this information from examining the “unique identifer” serial numbers on the Trident missiles that the U.S. has sold the UK over the years.
So, Russia browbeat and threatened Obama into submission. And Obummer cheerfully agreed.

Quote:
Instead of telling Moscow that Britain was an independent power not party to the treaty, and therefore information about her nuclear deterrent was non-negotiable, the leaked cables show that the Obama administration lobbied the British Foreign Office and Ministry of Defense in 2009 for permission to simply tell Moscow this data about the number, age, and performance capabilities of Trident.
This is totally unbeliveable! What an arrogant jerk to think the UK would simply give away its nuclear deterrent info to help himself get a treaty with Russia..

Quote:
The idea that any American president would browbeat or simply ignore a British government and give U.K. nuclear secrets to the Russians in order to secure a treaty with Moscow would be unconscionable to Presidents Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon, Kennedy, Johnson, Ford, probably Carter, certainly Reagan, both Bushes and probably Clinton too. Yet Obama, who has treated Britain with a thinly veiled sneer throughout his presidency, has not only countenanced but actually done it.
You go ajead and explain why this was in any way acceptable? And how the media outrage of this ridiculous "Trump-Russia" nonsense is the #1 issues
