Reading Pravda, you could get a pretty solid understanding what's going on all around the world. The viewpoint had a very definite angle, for granted, but the scope was wide and you could see lots of details. The modern American mass media is a joke in comparison.

Overselling your theroy just a bit. Tell me, how is "NETWORK NEWS" the only source of free press? "Literally" asking for a dictatorship? WTF are you talking about? I dont watch tv news..does that mean im literally living in a dictatorship? Do you even know the meaning of the word? Or are you just spouting liberal talking points printed for you?
Fox News was still the most-watched daytime network between 17 to 21 July in terms of daytime viewing, with an average of 1.3 million viewers, while MSNBC came third at 1.1 million. It was also the most-watched network for both daytime and primetime during the full week of 17 to 23 July, Nielsen found.
wow, so even after Fox News loses its biggest star and goes through scandals, they still win overall
