Does Trump need money, I don't know.
What he needs is constant praise and adoration, 40,000 people applauding, booing his enemies. When he doesn't get it he has a tantrum, calls people names, puts them down, bullies, ostracize, and threatens....

Kinda sounds like a description of a classroom bully with a ego problem.

How about men who intentionally walk in on naked teenage girls? You good with that?

From all indications, Donald Trump is heavily financed and up to his eyeballs in debt, mainly to offshore (and very questionable) lenders. His credit is so bad he can not borrow money from traditional American lenders, and what kind of "very rich person" can't do that ?

In the world of "rich people" Donald Trump is a piker. No really successful businessman goes bankrupt as often as he does, nor do they have a horrible track record of scamming people who do work for them.

So, the answer is you really do not know that he doesn't need the money, you are only guessing.
There are strong indications that he does indeed need the money as he has used campaign donations for everything from room rentals at his own places to legal fees.

Taxpayers are picking up the tab for thousands in golf cart rental fees for Secret Service to follow him all around his golf courses. Not to mention we are picking up the tab for their room rentals and so forth while he promotes his resorts.

Trump diverted money from his non-profit foundation to his personal use. ... He is being sued by the contractors on the Washington DC hotel for non-payment.

Why be so cheap if you're rolling in the dough?

As much as we, on the anti Trump side, make jokes and negative comments about him, the truth is, there is something definitely not right inside his head. The immaturity and lack of intelligence are only a small part of it, there is something deeper and more troubling going on in there.

We see it daily by the way he acts and the things he says. He does not think like a normal, sane person would think, and even his family and staff can not keep him from going off the deep end. You would think that a 70 year old man would have learned some lessons by now, but he has not.

Senility may be factoring into it a lot, he seems to be getting worse and more incoherent as time goes on. His sentences do not sometimes make sense and his thoughts are not connected. As his stress level rises over all the trouble he is in, his behavior is even more bizarre. I can't even begin to imagine what his staff thinks about him, and how it must be hard to defend his actions.

He is just so mature and entertaining, he is just so humble!

Hard to believe this was a speech for a boy scout jamboree, I guess his new communications is on the job.

Trump uniting the country and making America Great.

And you know we have a tremendous disadvantage in the Electoral College — popular vote is much easier. Because New York, California, Illinois — you have to practically run the East Coast. And we did. We won Florida. We won South Carolina. We won North Carolina. We won Pennsylvania.

I think they all are in a state of delusion-- and do not see the problem. Like a dysfunctional family- they all play a role to keep it all unhinged, on the edge and encircled by daily drama

I think he got the speech for the Boy Scout Jamboree mixed up with the one for the Heritage Foundation.
Well we know that this wasn't JFK's speech writer, maybe Sebastian Gorka.

President Trump giving a speech to the Boy Scouts. They are one of the most enthusiastic and vocal crowds yet.
Force-feeding political propaganda to kids should have people worried, but many here seems to celebrate it

President Trump writes all his own speeches.
No one puts words in his mouth.
