It's pretty obvious that Trump has a mental disorder. That's a given. The adults in Washington never wanted him but now we are stuck with him for the next four years. We can hope that Congress and the courts provide the checks and balances so that his unhinged personality and vulgar displays don't completely wreck our democracy. That's asking a lot, since the nation has been in crisis since inauguration day, but we still have to have hope that he won't do too much damage. Too bad that he granted Putin's wish to fracture the European and Atlantic alliances already.
