Never support it
So - this is what you support, right? I mean, that's safe and not at all awkward. The conservative sacred rule of matching-genitalia rule is upheld.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? It is in fact possible to care for the rights of those that are different from you, as much as modern US conservatism is trying to stomp out that concept.

Why in the eff should the US military pay for sex change operations????

Plus, and this hasn't been mentioned much, after gender-reassignment surgery, the soldiers are not deployable for 2 or 3 years, but must be on many (expensive) hormone therapy drugs amongst other drugs that whole time.

Then, once healed, the soldiers apply for discharge without ever having to be deployed but get a free sex change operation.

How or why is it the military's responsibility to pay for all this?

My goodness. Trump can sure rile up folks with silly tweets to deflect talk about important issues like healthcare legislation (failures) which affects 10s of millions of Americans! He should write a book called Art of the Deflection because the Left falls for his deflections every damn time.

Employers have the right to set the prerequisites to terms of behavior suitable to be considered for hire.

I asked a simple question, that is all. Many of these protesters perhaps don't know what it is like to be in the military. If they do, SOME (i say some not all) might have a change of mind. That is all.

Other employment options exist for this group excluded from the military:

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong:

Transgender people can serve in the military as long as they enroll as their biological sex. That is to say, a transgender man can serve as a man, but cannot choose to use the female accommodations. Right?

If so, what in the world are people complaining about? How is that discrimination?

It's the military. We're the employers. And at least some of us thinks it's kinda stupid to kick out transgender servicemen and -women after we've gone to the trouble and expense of training them. To sya nothing of the personal costs of those who set aside other things to build a military career, something that comes at considerable sacrifice. FFS, nobody has even bothered to come up with an argument that they underperform.

Some of us support the decision. POTUS is Commander in Chief. Generals agreed with his decision. I also agree with it.

It's a military, not a freak show.
