I’ve been reading up on this guy and he was on his way out anyway. His administration has been marked by minor scandals and a complete inability to get any of his agenda accomplished. In recent surveys, a “vast majority” of his own party democrats stated they would not vote for him in the next general election and it is questionable if he could get past a primary. One of the smaller scandals was that he had 2 staffers use the state police to trail and report on the doings of leading republicans who he considered political rivals. There are others, but the bottom line is that he was a lame duck gov. No wonder he needed a hobby.
