Default Kaepernick got the idea to kneel for the anthem from a Green Beret named Nate Boyer

I dont remember the protest ever being on its way out. opinion, not fact. Kaep started this crap when Obama was President.

Reminds me of the very first time I saw obama. During the debates caps on credit cards were discussed with obama saying he didn't like the proposed cap so he voted against it. Edwards said "So you'd rather have no cap at all"? Everyone laughed at obama.

Like I said, you can't sure stupid.
huh?

Like the election - people will say what they think other people want to hear so as not to get into a fight rather than tell the truth. A lot of this kneeling is being done not because those kneeling actually feel the way the original kneelers did but no one wants to be on the outside looking in so join in to fit in - depending on which way the wind is blowing.
That's what a friend and I discussed earlier this week. They have the attention, what are they going to do about it.

Seems you missed the point, why this went viral after Charlottesville, like why Kaepernick took a knee...

Oh forget it.
I think we are both missing each other's points here. If this short went viral, then please tell me why I never saw it brought up in news articles or on FB? (Which keep in mind, I read many articles because my kids don't need to stress on what is going on in the countries or places their father is sent to.) Kaepernick took a knee for police brutality, the NFL is taking a knee for unity two totally different things.

Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears players, coaches and other staffers locked arms on the sidelines during the national anthem on Thursday night.
I will tell you the truth, I didn't watch. Friends commented about it and I went searching and read several articles. Maybe my thinking is off. Thinking that kneeling vs standing during the anthem is two totally different things.

Not quite true. See post #23.
what about post 23? A player losing a car dealership endorsement isn't a big deal to the NFL.

and most NFL players play in college. The corruption in the NCAA is well known. Schools like Bama and USC are notorious for sliding kids money or their parents money in order to get the best players.
