Has anyone posted the videos of all these "patriots" who are shown walking around, going to the bathroom, getting food, etc., during the anthem? I know the Houston Chronicle posted a video from a Texans game.

If I find it, I'll post it.

It only exposes them and confirms what we already knew: they are hypocritical jackarses who don't practice what they preach.

They would be the people who say they don't care.

The people who do care are the ones standing.

Like the ones not standing up for their fellow Americans?

I'd ask for proof, but I already know the answer to that.

And instead are the ones who boo during the singing of the anthem, boo during 9/11 tribute videos, spit on players, taunt fans and hurl racial slurs.

True hypocrites...I mean patriots.

The fact that there is more outrage over black athletes kneeling than white nationalists protesting and one committing an act of terror against Americans is certainly telling.

Not sure anyone agrees with me but getting down on your knees is a "submissive" stance and to me, it makes no statement of strength or alliance to your beliefs.

Stand up, be strong, play ball and protest in another way!

On another note;
NFL anthem protests: No major policy changes expected at owner's meeting

Some owners, led by Jerry Jones, would like to see enforcement of the current policy, as noted in the NFL's gameday operations manual, which could subject players and teams to fines and other discipline for failing to stand during the anthem. However, any further changes to that language is not expected this week, but rather the league, the owners, players and NFLPA officials will be discussing ways to take social activism and engagement beyond pregame displays.

It was suggested by a military vet to be respectful. The irony (yes that's a true story)

Personally, how I feel about these players and their little "protests" is that their concerns mean NOTHING to me - absolutely NOTHING. And they shouldn't be given the attention their temper tantrums seek to get.

I don't care what "demands" these petulant children want or demand - they mean zilch to me. And I think to most of the American public.

It would be far more prudent if the rest of us adults who are bothered by them...just turn away until the "media" stops giving them what they seek
. Turn away as public do when a child throws a tantrum in a grocery store whilst they whale and cry for candy.

Then we will start winning their game.
Perhaps Trump should have taken your advice. The President constantly tweeting about it and then having his VP fly around the country to make a political stunt about it - has risen this to the level of Defcon 4.

Wrong. The "media" are to blame for taking it to the extreme. They are a disgrace.

Your opinion is not fact. The president of the US chose to weigh in using his bully pulpit AND waste the taxpayer dollar by having his VP perform a dog and pony show with regard to the NFL and kneeling.

Fact.
