Coach Tomlin says he won't play politics so they will skip the whole thing. Guess what? You just did play politics.
The team should be given a delay of game penalty and fined for not being on the field on game time ready to play as stated in the NFL rulebook. A forfeit would even be better.
Maybe they should all do that so the focus can return to the game instead of politics.

Do you think those players are not wanting that to be publicised? Do you not think that is why they are doing it? It's hard to ignore. I think that's the point.
Of course they don't want to be ignored, but they are not actively disrupting others from standing during the anthem, so what's the big deal? It's a peaceful demonstration, and it doesn't even hold up the game. They kneel, the anthem plays, and then there's the kick off. It's not like they're running around the field chanting and shredding American flags. They're just kneeling.
Finally, there are better things to do with your time than watch 15 minutes of real action in a 1 hour game be dragged out over 3 hours.

I like that they kneel for the national anthem. It looks like more respect is being given. They should bow down to a country that gave them such opportunity. Keep kneeling, boys.

So what's he taking advantage of by calling all the protesting NFL players SoBs and hoping they get fired, but calling some of the White Supremacists marching under anti-semitic and racist banners good people?
Wait till NFL ratings and attendance continue to dip. Only then will you see the league take action against this knee taking fad.
