Indeed, but that is what happens when you let the inmate run the asylum.

As to the slanted way the OP framed it, they imply Trump was saying some Nazi's were good people. Most people know he was referring to the regular folks who object to statues/memorials being removed, but are not connected to racist groups like the Hitler loving fools.

What sort of company allows you to make political statements on company time? If your run of the mill union asked a company to allow their workers to make political statements on company time the company would laugh them off.

There is something to that. But I don't see the need for a loudmouth like Trump- or any POTUS- to get involved.

Professional sports and the entertainment industry are two that put politics front and center.

The recent Emmy show headlines had more "Trump" stories than a list of who actually won emmies.
Made me wonder if they actually handed out any or spent the night bashing Trump.

I think that people are getting bored with the NFL. They are only watching the better matchups or their home team. Who but a homie would watch the Browns or 49ers? Ratings were down 13% the first week. Have not seen anything about the games since then.

You have to recognize this for what it is...a distraction for his base. This is Trump trying to throw out another shiny object to take attention away from the fact that he really hasn't done much and can't get his house in order because has the leadership skills of a mosquito. The ACA is still the law of the land. No significant GOP legislation has gone through. There's no "wall" going up. Trump is busy playing on Twitter, golfing, throwing Republicans and his reality TV show staff under the bus one by one, whining about the media, and hedging on his campaign promises.

North Korea is laughing in his face and treating all of his fake tough guy threats like a joke as they do missile test after missile test. His administration is under serious investigation including the guy he picked for NSA and his former campaign manager who's looking more crooked by the day. His Presidency has really amounted to nothing over the first 9 months and this is all he can do... have pep rallies trying to re-live the campaign glory days playing to his base with dumb distractions. One week he's tweeting high school level memes, the next week he's going on about trivial football players kneeling for a song in silent protest. Trump is a TV guy and he knows the buzzwords and catch-phrases to say to get a reaction. He says provocative stuff that sows division and hate in this country but he knows these kind of things will make headlines and that's what he's all about. His shtick has been old for months now.

Yup and I know people that aren't watching because of the black players who spoke out against Kaepernick. So yeah NFL is catching it from everywhere and I don't care. Everybody's acting like only the black players will be hurt by this yet forgetting the white owners will be losing too. Oh well

Trump didn't refer to the White Nationalist man that murdered a woman as a "son of a *****."
Well you know according to Trump and many on CD, nazis are just simply misunderstood so Trump's tweet doesn't surprise me at all
