We know that Trump has zero attention span or capacity for self-analysi ... but do you think it's crossed his mind to think, "Gee, maybe if I hadn't belittled McCain during the campaign he might not be opposing me now"?

No. Trump will never admit he made a mistake. Not even to himself.

I'd like to think that McCain is not so petty.
It is obvious that the bill needed more work or everyone would have been on board with it.

I'm sure Trump is considering if McCain just got revenge on him.

McCain isn't opposing Trump; he's standing up for the American people who deserve better. Trump is busy throwing his supporters and the rest of the American people under the bus.

Nah, he's not capable of such thought processes.

Trump is used to insulting people who have no power. Was McCain was just bidding his time to get even? I doubt McCain's no vote was retaliation but Trump's insult didn't buy him any favors with McCain either. He knows he's dying soon and did the right thing for the country. I hope the senate will consider the speech McCain made a few days ago and gets back to doing things the way our Founding Fathers envisioned our leaders working together.

You bet! This is part of retaliation.

Making fun of any Vietnam Veteran is not cool.

But a POW Vietnam Veteran really ain't cool.

God Bless Senator John McCain.

May I remind you that McCain called us, "crazies." He's no better than Pelosi.

McCain picked the fight with Trump out of jealousy. McCain called Trump supporters "CRAZIES"! McCain is a RINO. He showed his hate for Trump and Americans who liked Trump's message. He is the "CRAZY full of jealousy and hate.
