This is so much like two children caught doing something bad. Finally, one admits they did it but blames the sibling for having the idea.

Seriously?
I'm not so sure if they were before or after Trump said what he said, and if it was after, if Trump did or didn't influence things. Don't mean that Trump shouldn't have said it in the first place. Only scumbags say that and Trump said that, you do the math. Scumbags shouldn't live inthe White House.

LOL, I see the russian brain washing worked on you.Flood you with enough false information on the opponent and you believe it.Look at trumps camp ,they openly admit to "alternative facts"....the rest of the real world calls that lying. They believe the more you say a lie the more it becomes fact.

If I'm Russia, I'm going with the candidates that support green energy and carbon-credits.

It's a ****ing no-brainer!

Since the FBI was never allowed to examine the DNC servers, and since they have been destroyed (apparently with hammers), we'll never know, to the full extent, what really happened.

What we do know for sure is that anyone could have gained access to that system.

If the Russians did gain entry to the system, you can be sure they didn't leak any of it because they could have blackmailed a then-likely president H.R. Clinton with the contents.

Again, it's a ****ing no-brainer!

Trump claims Russia worked against him: Plausible?

Definitely 'sortof'.

By which, meaning the Senate Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed Fusion GPS founder Simpson for testimony:

Quote:
...Simpson had been listed as a witness for a public Judiciary Committee hearing scheduled for Wednesday regarding oversight of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and "attempts to influence U.S. elections."

"A subpoena has been issued to compel his attendance. Simpson’s attorney has asserted that his client will invoke his Fifth Amendment rights in response to the subpoena," the Senate leaders said in a statement. ...
Senate panel subpoenas co-founder of firm tied to controversial Trump dossier | TheHill

This is the thing though, Donald Trump Jr. & Paul Manafort, Mr. Trump's former campaign manager, were also listed as witnesses for the hearing. They also have not confirmed they will testify.

Mr. Trump Jr. & Mr. Manafort have not been issued subpoenas. Not yet. Time will tell.

Imho, all is still 'clear as mud'. Although one would think &/or expect some 'amping up' of US security-related issues already revealed by present findings.

Given the competence Trump has demonstrated, is it plausible that Russian meddling in the election was to prevent Trump's election?

It certainly elevates Russian intelligence if they were actively working against him. Was the purpose of the Russian meeting with Kremlin related officials to sabotage his administration if he won?

If Trump is right, then he should relax and allow Mueller to fully investigate the meddling.

Doesn't Trump have more pressing things to do like repealling Obamacare?

Suitable promotion for a Reality TV Show, unsuitable for POTUS.
