Sadiq Khan is “optimistic” about the UK remaining in the European Union (EU) and argues Brexit can be “stopped” if the Labour Party backs calls for a second referendum.
The Mayor of London also claimed Brexit had caused “hate crimes” and implied U.S. President Donald J. Trump was childish for criticizing him.

Looks like even the liberals in the U.K. Are unable to accept the results of an election!

No major UK political party is committed to stopping Brexit, and Khan has no authority when it comes to the issue.

We will most likey end up with some Swiss or Norwegian Style deal, preferably Swiss for the foreseable future.

A Swiss deal would allow us to continue to trade with the EU as per normal but also allows the UK to make deals wth other nations.

On the downside we might have to concede on areas of free movement in the short term, but the EU is starting to change it's views on free movement, indeed it has to or it risks beaking up, as Eastern Europe is not going to except migrants full stop.

Khan should really just shut up, he's Mayor and not Prime Minister.

Brexit from my understanding from talking with working class Brits when we were over in England this past January was primarily to stop the coming and going of immigrants/refugees from dangerous countries whose ideologies were in opposition to the majority of English people and to stop the unending flow of hard earned tax dollars into the hands of these people and the programs that would house, feed and support them.

Hmmm It sounded eerily similar to the real fears that propelled Trump to victory...

It also sounds familiar that those in charge are trying to change/alter what was voted on by the People.

Or the bombings, or the truck driving through crowds, or the stabbings, or the rapes, or any other violence committed by members of the 'religion of peace' supposedly because of Brexit. You'd think the people there would be pushing to accelerate Brexit, not revoke it.

Liberals are 100% in for democracy until they are in the minority then democracy is bad.

It's wishful thinking at best. It takes time to organize a second referendum. Meanwhile negotiations with the EU go ahead and cannot be stopped. The EU will not let U.K. off the hook until they get a second chance and nobody can assure the EU that the result of a second referendum will be different.

No, he hates the process, period, because the vote is not 100% controllable.

Dictators love liberals and liberals love dictators. Its a political love fest. Maybe even an orgy if they get control again.
I can see them explaining it before a senate hearing. I didn't have sex with that woman. I don't even know if it identifies as a woman. I did nothing wrong in that hot tub..
