Actually sea levels began to rise in the late 1800s, when humans started burning huge amounts of coal. Before that it had remained steady for about 2000 years.

If not for CO2 emissions we would be in a cooling period today.

"A 2014 Yale University report said Luntz conducted focus group sessions looking at the topic and suggested shortly before the 2002 elections that Republicans, who were trying to downplay the threat of global warming, replace that with the less-threatening term "climate change."

"After receiving Luntz's memo, Bush shifted in environmental speeches from using the term global warming to climate change."

Global Warming vs. Climate Change: How Politics Created a New Term

The US Republican party thought the term "global warming" was too frightening for the general public, so they changed it to "climate change."

Actually the terms global warming and climate change are both relevant, but describe different things....Global warming is a simple fact. Climate is changing in complicated ways because the planet is warming.

AGW is NOTHING more than a Leftist plot to control humans and spread wealth around the globe. That's all it is.

It is amazing how the globalist elite have convinced the gullible otherwise. I do believe it makes some people feel like their lives have meaning, and gives them a purpose. Other than that it's a load of B.S. The income, and wealth draining "fixes" and large government involvement makes it pretty obvious. Plus, I don't see Al Gore, or Leo DiCaprio changing their lifestyles out of fear they are producing CO2. LOL!

7,000 years ago the climate stabilized and sea level rise slowed, holding largely steady for most of the last 2,000 years, based on records from corals and sediment cores. Now, however, sea level is on the rise again, rising faster now than it has in the past 6,000 years. Sea Level Rise | Smithsonian Ocean Portal

You don't see because you don't look.....It's the same with the barn loads of evidence for climate change. You don't see it only because you don't want to see it.
