Insurance companies were pulling out of the exchanges before Trump took office.

Exactly what money is Donald Trump withholding from insurance companies that he is legally obligated to pay them?

Perhaps more.

Not everyone is in your position. Some people who oppose it are opposing it because it's expensive, not because it's non-existent. If ACA "implodes" there is going to be less insurance in each market and the plans that ARE there will be MORE expensive. Obviously the term "implosion" doesn't mean something's going to get better... it means it's going to get worse. I am asking why anyone wants to wait until that situation hits rock bottom instead of just continuing to go at it now (replace OR repeal) before that happens.

Default Poll: Most say time to end effort to repeal Obama health law

Poll: Most say time to end effort to repeal Obama health law
  • Around 4 in 5 want the Trump administration to take actions that help Obama's law function properly, rather than trying to undermine it.
  • 6 in 10 say Trump and congressional Republicans are responsible for any upcoming health care problems since they control government.
  • And by nearly 2-to-1, most say it's good that the Senate rejected the GOP repeal-and-replace bill last month.

Already indicated what he is doing in an attempt to destroy the ACA. He is purposely creating instability by not making a decision on the subsidies, he doesn't want to pull them so he can claim it's not his fault. No it's not illegal what he is doing but is anything he does illegal, this is the new standard by which we judge a president.
